Having taken a ten-year-long break, Ampeg present a fresh range of bass cabs loaded with 12 inch speakers. The 300 Watt member of the Classic Series, the Ampeg SVT-112AV boasts the strong construction of 15mm poplar plywood coated in vinyl and finished in vintage flair by a special Anniversary speaker grille. Meanwhile, a 12 inch Custom Eminence woofer provides the ideal balance between the fast response demanded by any self-respecting bassist, and the rich depth you would only expect from any of the Ampeg SVT cabinets. As an added bonus, this edition is a little more compact and a touch lighter than its bigger siblings.

Adjustable Tweeter & Swappable Speaker Grille

Offering deep control over the higher frequencies, the 1 inch tweeter loaded into the Ampeg SVT-112AV is fully adjustable via a rear-fitted rotary switch that can toggle the tweeter on or off or set it to -6 decibels. Next to that, you'll find a pair of jack ports, both of which can be used as either inputs or loop-through outputs as needed. The vintage-flavoured speaker grille of this modern classic can also be safely removed to reveal an integrated bass reflex port that's been included to inject more low-end body, and if you prefer a more modern look, replaced with the black variant (not included).
